Our work

BRANDS AND AGENCY CLIENTS

“It was a pleasure to do our offline edit for Don’t Let The Devil Take Another Day at Eve’ll. Josh and his team create such a friendly environment and the suite was lovely to work in, but throughout they were also incredibly respectful – knowing our film featured a lot of personal material and the story at the heart of the documentary was being kept secret.”

Ben lowe

director, Don't let the devil take another day

“CC-Lab have worked with Josh and Eve’ll for over a decade and they continuously deliver exceptional work.”

Jason Hocking

“We came over from the states needing someone reliable who could provide us with a complete production solution. Eve’ll did it to a tee, looking after the 40+ cast and crew with aplomb and dealing with issues smoothly and professionally at every turn.”

Ezra Venetos

Supervising Producer, Rooster Teeth

“Eve’ll Films have been our production partner for the best part of 10 years, supplying kit, crew and production solutions to supplement our own video team. They’ve tailored a service to meet our needs, offering the flexibility to fit seamlessly into our in-house crew or to scale up and deliver shoots directly with our accounts teams. We highly recommend their services, they are an absolute pleasure to work with, and an incredibly friendly and talented group.”

Jennifer Kaplan-Ortiz

Production Manager, Weber Shandwick

“Eve’ll are an ideal video production partner for us. They bring detailed technical knowhow and highest levels of production along with a proven ability to contribute to the creative process, not to mention being able to turnaround content to tight deadlines at what others might call awkward hours. We’re confident choosing them as a partner for commissions with our highest profile clients and would recommend them to agencies and broadcasters looking to produce best of class social video”

Unfiltered Celebrity interviews

Client • Glamour Magazine
Project • Unfiltered Interviews

Being able to supply and deliver all kit and crew for these high profile interviews allows us to streamline the production and billing process for the the busy content creation team at Glamour.

Reece Witherspoon, Jennifer Anniston, Millie Bobby Brown, Naomi Harris, Elizabeth Moss and Meghan Trainor are just some of the celebrities we’ve filmed in coversation with Josh Smith for the Unfiltered Interview series on Glamour Magazine’s YouTube channel.

Usually filmed during a press day in a Central London hotel, speed, organisation, professionalism and multitasking are the name of the game where these interviews are concerned!

Capturing the content on three cameras in 4K, using prime lenses – with audio straight to camera using both boom and lavalier microphones – the footage is then passed over to the client who complete the edit with their in-house editors.

Hidden Cameras AT Gatwick

Client • Weber Shandwick
Project • Virgin Atlantic – Mary Poppins Returns

When Virgin Atlantic wanted to mark the release of the film Mary Poppins Returns, Weber Shandwick asked us to provide kit and crew for a hidden camera shoot at Gatwick Airport.

With four hidden cameras secreted around the action, our Director could keep an eye on preceedings with a multiview monitor showing each of the cameras via a wireless feed, and communicate with each operator via walkie-talkie.

Managing to keep the camera operators, sound recordist and production crew hidden was imperitive to the project, so unsuspecting travellers would be genuine surprised when the action was taking place.

spoken word in the woods

Client • CC-Lab
Project • NCS x Suli Breaks – Say Yes

We don’t provide only technical solutions, often our clients turn to us for creative solutions too.

Having worked for CC-Lab on several NCS projects, they asked us to prepare a treatment for a call-to-action video featuring a spoken word poem by Suli Breaks.

Once approved, we quickly found ourselves in Black Park Forest behind Pinewood Studios on a cold winter’s morning, with a very packed shooting schedule in front of us! With all production handled by CC-Lab, we provided the directing talent for the shoot and edit, delivering a piece of content that has gone on to achive over 121,000 views on YouTube.

4k Documentary edit

Client • Ben Lowe
Project • Stereophonics Documentary

We were very honored when Ben made the decision to edit his debut feature length documentary in our suite. The film follows Stereophonics singer Kelly Jones through a very difficult part of the year, before he took to the road with his debut solo album.

Ben and his editor Garry Smith completed the offline edit of “Don’t Let The Devil Take Another Day”, in early 2020, with the film receiving its cinema release in December.

Studio, kit & Crew for a TVC

Client • Milkwood Productions
Project • Blighty Bingo TVC

Having put together the creative for this TVC, Milkwood needed a hand with the production – which is where our studio, production team, kit room and crew came in handy.

Filming was completed in a day in our own studio,
editing and grading was also completed in our edit suite.

Fixing for ghosthunting
us crew

Client • Rooster Teeth
Project • Achievement Haunter

When the Rooster Teeth crew arrived from Austin, Texas to shoot episodes of their Achivement Haunter series, we were able to facilitate their production so they could travel with just a skeleton crew and a minimum of producution essentials.

Arriving with locations and a shooting plan already in place, Rooster Teeth needed us to fill in the gaps – namely kit, crew, talent, logistics and production support.

Their two spooky locations were Michelham Priory in Sussex and The Hellfire Caves in Buckinghamshire, and for both we provided all of the elements they required – casting extras, sourcing kit, crew, catering and accomodation – a one-stop shop to make their filming experience as straightforward as possible, so their team could concentrate on making the content.

REd carpet tik tok shoot & edit

Client • Viacom Velocity
Project • MTV EMAs Milan

This was a fast turnaround shoot and edit, creating content for Tik Tok who were sponsoring the MTV EMA awards, which this year took place in Milan.

Despite the need to shoot, edit and upload the content incredibly quickly, there was only room for one crew member on the plane to Milan and to be accomodated the hotel. So as well as providing a highly portable camera and editing kit, we also supplied a shooter/editor who could upload the content on time.

Working with a group of influencers they shot, edited and uploaded content from a backstage tour, before accompanying them down the red carpet, interacting with their fans and bumping into other talent.

These red carpet rushes were edited similarly quickly, having been framed and shot in 4K so as to be able to deliver edits in both 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratio.

GoPro body rig for children

Client • Weber Shandwick
Project • Lifebouy Soap

We love working with the team at Weber Shandwick as they’re always presenting us with such great challenges!

They came to us for technical solutions on two great pieces of short form content for Unilever brand Lifebouy, celebrating Global Handwashing Day.

For the first, we were asked to design an on-body camera rig to be worn by different children, that would give an over-the-top-of-the-head view of their hands, as they touched the hundreds of objects they put their grubby mitts on over a twenty four hour period. Given the creative needed a UGC feel and the camera needed to be safe, light and comfortable enough for young children to wear, we built a carbon fibre rig to support a GoPro, along with a super lightweight Paralinx Dart wireless transmitter. The young cast were able to run, sit, scoot, climb and swing with the rig on, so Director/Producer Sam Gunn could direct via a wireless monitor.

For the second spot we had to find a solution to shoot a flatlay with one of our young cast members surrounded by all the objects she’d touched over the course of a day. As the objects needed to be animated into frame and the shot needed to zoom out as it progressed, we chose to shoot at 6K on our Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, to give us the resolution we needed.

The small form factor and weight of the camera made it safe and simple to rig, whilst allowing us to get the camera as high as possible by mounting it very close to the truss. The built in bluetooth control and a wireless follow focus system meant we could roll, playback, adjust camera settings, focus and zoom without constantly raising and lowering the truss – which could have added valuable time to the shoot and edit.

A monitor was hard wired into the camera which fed into further socially distanced monitors for Sam and the crew, as well as a wireless monitor to allow Art Director Aimee Meek and her team to tweak the positioning of the one hundred plus objects aligned around eight year old Aaliyah at the centre of the frame.

Despite a wayward pigeon disrupting the shoot (and making its presence felt all over the back of our camera!) we wrapped on time having got all the shots in the can. The final edit can be seen here.
